THE SLOW TRAIL AT LAKE WEISSENSEE
Slow down and you will start to see. With this in mind, the Slow Trail at Lake Weissensee leads you directly along the shore with a particularly watchful eye. Accompanied by the clear, turquoise waters of the lake, an amazing mix of incredible natural diversity opens up to you as a "trail finder", allowing you to discover Lake Weissensee over and over again.
EXTRAORDINARY LAKE TRAIL
Turquoise blue, the lake nestles on the shore where nothing obstructs the view. Fish float in the clear water, the shimmer accompanies hikers into the forest, where the mind can rest in green silence.
The Slow Trail takes you on a journey to the most beautiful natural sites. Countless secluded bays, places for a rest and vantage points await you on the trail along the lake, with a view of the Lienz Dolomites. Leisure hikers are never disturbed, because there is no bypass road around Lake Weissensee.
THE SLOW TRAIL
The 11.6 km long Lake Weissensee, famous for its fjord-like landscape as well as the clear, turquoise-blue water of drinking water quality, offers a perfect Slow Trail scenario. The 8.8 km long lakeside trail leads you either from Neusach (Ronacherfels) to the eastern shore or in the opposite direction along the most impressive stations of the lake. The way back can be perfectly combined with a boat trip on Lake Weissensee.
