Alternative Dutch 11-City Tour
International amateur & professional athletes have been competing at Lake Weissensee for over 30 years. The Alternative Dutch 11-City Tour is the ultimate highlight for speed skaters. From 18.01. to 01.02.2025, distances of 100 km and 200 km will be completed daily. The biggest ice sport spectacle in the world, with several thousand active participants, is an unforgettable experience for everyone involved. Both amateur skaters and absolute pros take part in the competitions. The current world record over 200 km on natural ice was set on Lake Weissensee and is 5 hours and 11 minutes. In addition, Dutch speed skating championships and several speed skating circuit races for professionals are held here. The sports highlight is the 200 km speed skating marathon for pros.
Support contributions for ice rinks
For the use of the ice rinks, day guests over the age of twelve are charged a support contribution of € 8.00 for the day wristband. The support wristbands are available at the Weissensee Information, from the municipality and from the ice butlers.
Guests of PremiumCard establishments are excluded as they can use the ice rink and cross-country ski tracks free of charge.
